BOOK THIS WALK

This walk is a mixture of forest tracks and grassy footpaths, a continuous walk but no hard slog.

We will follow the walk around its horseshoe shape, past the Fruid Reservoir Dam, and will have plenty of time to stop and admire the superb views.  Among the many points of interest on this walk are Fruid Head and Hart Fell (a Corbett) and an old quarry, plus several Iron age roundhouses of the Talla Valley.

The Talla Reservoir makes a sudden – delightful – appearance around a corner towards the end of the walk and no matter how tired your limbs are this will make it all worthwhile.
